As a provider of Job Services Australia, JOB futures SEQ is dedicated to providing a one-stop-shop for job seekers.  We will work with you to determine your goals, current skills and any additional training or support you may need to help you get and keep a job.

At JOB futures SEQ all job seekers are entitled to:

  • access to, and help with, job search facilities
  • an assessment of your current skills
  • access to training
  • regular face-to-face meetings
  • regular reviews of your circumstances, to make sure you are getting the assistance you need

 

 

JOB futures SEQ will work with you to develop and review your Employment Pathway Plan, tailored to your individual needs.  Included in the plan will be strategies to help you:

  • search for jobs
  • access work experience opportunities
  • gain new skills or qualifications
  • overcome other barriers to employment

 

 

To help achieve some of the goals in your Employment Pathway Plan JOB futures SEQ may pay for:

Bus
  • training
  • work related clothing and safety equipment
  • short term travel costs
  • relocation costs to commence in employment
  • other personal support services

 

 

We can also help employers to access financial help for employing people facing more barriers to employment, including:

Helping employers
  • help with wages
  • workplace modifications and adjustments
  • Auslan interpreting and co-worker training
  • work experience programs
  • Australian Apprenticeships and incentives for employers
  • National Disability Recruitment Coordinator
